Terms of Service

Welcome! These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using https://michelleajones.com (the "Site"), which is run by Empowering Humans LLC, a Montana limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), on behalf of Michelle Jones. By using the Site, filling out a form, booking a call, joining our text or email lists, or taking part in our online groups or events, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Who we are
Michelle Jones is an independent Celesty skincare and cosmetics consultant based in Billings, Montana. The Site shares information about skincare and beauty, and offers free resources, call booking, and ways to stay in touch.
2. Independent consultant and product purchases
Michelle is an independent consultant, not an employee or official spokesperson of Celesty. Opinions shared on the Site, in our Facebook groups, and at our events are her own. Products I recommend are sold and shipped by Celesty; their policies cover orders, returns, and refunds. Please contact Celesty with order questions.
3. Health, skincare, and results disclaimer
- Content on the Site, in our ebooks, groups, and events is for general information and education only. It is not medical or dermatological advice and isn't meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
- Everyone's skin is different. Talk with a doctor or dermatologist before starting a new product or routine, especially if you're pregnant, nursing, have a skin condition, or have allergies. Always read ingredient labels and do a patch test. Stop using any product that causes irritation.
- Testimonials and before-and-after examples reflect individual experiences. Your results may vary.
4. Text messaging (SMS) terms
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts (for example, through a form on the Site), you agree to these SMS terms:
- Program: You may receive texts from Michelle Jones / Empowering Humans LLC about appointment reminders, event updates, replies to your questions, skincare tips, and occasional offers.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
- To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You'll get one confirmation text and no more messages after that unless you sign up again.
- For help, reply HELP or email michelle@empoweringhumans.com.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Email communications
When you sign up for a free resource, fill out a form, or book a call, you agree to receive emails from us, such as the item you requested, updates, tips, and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
6. Facebook groups and online events
Our Facebook groups and online events (live or virtual) are meant to be welcoming and supportive. Please be kind and respectful. Don't post spam, harassment, hateful content, or anything illegal, and don't promote or sell to other members without permission. We may remove posts or members at our discretion. Facebook and other platforms have their own terms, which also apply. Events may be recorded; we'll let you know when they are.
7. Booking calls
If you book a call through the Site, please give accurate information and let us know if you need to reschedule. Calls are for informational purposes and do not create a professional, medical, or legal relationship.
8. Using the Site
Please don't misuse the Site. That means don't try to hack it, disrupt it, scrape it, submit false information or someone else's contact details, or use it for anything unlawful.
9. Intellectual property
The Site's content, including text, graphics, logos, photos, videos, ebooks, and the EmpowerSuite branding, belongs to Empowering Humans LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You're welcome to view and share links to our content for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, or republish it without our written permission. Celesty names, logos, and product images belong to Celesty and are used for reference only.
10. Third-party links and services
The Site links to and relies on other websites and services, such as Celesty, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and scheduling and form tools. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
11. No warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We try to keep things accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee the Site will always be accurate, complete, error-free, or available.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Empowering Humans LLC, Michelle Jones, won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, that come from your use of the Site, our content, our groups or events, or any products you buy from third parties (including Celesty). If we're found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us directly in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
13. Indemnity
If you misuse the Site or break these Terms and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Yellowstone County, Montana, and you agree to that location.
15. Children
The Site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. See our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. If you keep using the Site after an update, that means you accept the new Terms.
